Filinvest donates 500 Covid vaccines to Metro Clark LGUs
FILINVEST Development Corporation (FDC) recently donated 500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to local government units (LGUs) near Angeles City.
FDC donated AstraZeneca vaccines to Angeles City and Mabalacat City through its subsidiaries Quest Plus Conference Center Clark and Mimosa Plus Golf Course.
The donation was in partnership with Clark Development Corporation (CDC)-Health and Sanitation Division led by Dr. Clemencita Dobles.
According to FDC, the donation is part of its FilVax program, which aims to help combat the pandemic and to take part in securing the well-being of communities.
“We are grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the well-being and protection of our communities. This is our #QuestForLife,” the company said in a statement.
Aeta communities in Mabalacat, selected Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) drivers in Angeles and in this freeport are the target beneficiaries of the donated vaccines.
The inoculation will be administered at the SM City Clark Vaccination Post, CFZ Satellite Vaccination Site, and City College of Angeles Vaccination Post.
CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gaerlan thanked Filinvest and other Clark locators for their efforts and support in helping this freeport and its adjacent areas achieve herd immunity against the pandemic.
“CDC appreciates the concern and support of Filinvest and Quest to the people of Angeles and Pampanga through its donation of vaccines. Our Clark locators including FLI Group, ICTSI/Razon Group, and PLDT/MVP Group of companies have been helping our workers and their families with a supply of vaccines at this time of crisis,” Gaerlan said.
