Filinvest breaks ground on office building in Mimosa Clarkfield

GOTIANUN-LED Filinvest Land Inc. on Wednesday said it broke ground on one of its key office buildings in Mimosa+ Leisure City in Clarkfield, Pampanga, and held a topping-off ceremony in another building within the complex.

The company said it broke ground on 7Workplus and topped off its 4Workplus in the 201-hectare township project.

Workplus is the green-oriented office campus that spans 4.6 hectares. It is expected to feature eight midrise buildings with a total expected gross leasable area of approximately 126,000 square meters.

“Workplus is an important component of this township, together with the 130-hectare golf course and the luxurious Quest Plus Conference Center as they complement each other to provide a balanced mix of developments. This project also brings us closer to our vision of making Filinvest Mimosa+ a top-of-mind, year-round business and leisure destination,” Janette Cordero, Filinvest Cyberzone Mimosa Inc. first vice president, said.

Workplus is designed to cater to different locators in the Clark area as it is fully equipped to accommodate the round-the-clock operations of business-process outsourcing firms.

There are already two green office buildings—1Workplus and 2Workplus—which are completed and substantially leased. Both buildings are equipped with a retail area on the ground floor and advanced fiber-optic facilities, the company said.

“Workplus will attract locators not only because of its state-of-the-art features but also because of its refreshing, green campus environment. People working here will be inspired to be productive because of the work-life balance that it offers,” Cordero said.

Workplus will benefit from being surrounded by residential offerings, leisure components, and a future high-end gaming complex that is all in the pipeline.

Both 4Workplus and 7Workplus are targeted for completion in 2020. When completed, the two are expected to deliver an estimated 5,040 seats.

The remaining Workplus buildings will follow over the next three years, which will further propel Filinvest Mimosa+ to becoming a key tourism and commerce destination in the Clark region, the company said.
